I have a friend that has 4 children under the age of 4 year.  She is a stay at home mom and therefore doesnt have income of her own to support her family.  Her husband doesnt help with the children.  I beleive he has some mental health issues.  He does work full time.  He left my friend (his wife) during her last pregnany and had an affair and did very little to support her and their children while he was out of the house.  He is now back at home but doesnt make house payments (home almost foreclosed) their family vehicle was repososed and their electricty was one hour away from being shut off because he failed to pay the bills.  Her elderly grandmother used the money that would be her children's inheritance to purchase them a family van.  My friend is afraid if she leaves that her husband will never repay her grandmother and cause her family to then disown her.  Her family can provide little to no help and she doesnt know who to turn to. Just yesterday she called the bank and they told her they were shutting down their bank account because her husband made fradulant transactions on their account.

He is verbally abusive.

She would like to leave but doesnt think she could even get an apartment because he has ruined her credit and she has no money.

Any sugestions would be appreciated.
